Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using our calendar service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.

2. User Accounts

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly update your account information as needed
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3. Service Usage

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload malicious code or content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Interfere with the service's functionality
• Exceed the maximum limit of 5 calendar sources per calendar

4. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TurnCal and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

5. Calendar Data

Regarding calendar data:

• You retain ownership of your calendar content
• We may access data to provide and improve services
• You are responsible for backing up your data
• We may remove inappropriate or illegal content

6. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue any part of the service
• Change fees or subscription terms
• Limit feature availability or usage
• Update these terms at any time

7. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users of the service, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

9. SMS Terms

Turncal (the brand operated by Turncal) offers the following SMS messaging programs to users who have explicitly opted in:

• Cleaning task notifications — alerts to cleaners when a new cleaning task is assigned, rescheduled, or marked complete, and to property owners when cleaners update task status.
• Calendar event change notifications — alerts to property owners and assigned cleaners when bookings are added, cancelled, or rescheduled in a connected calendar feed.
• iCal feed sync error alerts — alerts to property owners when a connected iCal feed (Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com, etc.) fails to sync.

Opt-in. Consent is collected through our public consent form at turncal.com/consent (which requires an explicit checkbox confirmation), or through the Settings page for logged-in account holders. The phone number opting in must belong to the person providing consent. You may also text JOIN to a Turncal-published number, where supported, to subscribe.

Opt-out. Reply STOP (or CANCEL, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT) to any Turncal text message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation message and then no further messages from that program.

Help. Reply HELP to any Turncal text message for assistance, or contact us at support@turncal.com.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on the number of cleaning tasks, calendar events, and feed sync results associated with your account.

Pricing. Message and data rates may apply. Turncal does not charge for SMS messages it sends or receives; standard charges from your mobile carrier may apply.

Carrier disclaimer. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
